We offer simulated game days for a teams of up to 21 guns. Simulated days can be enjoyed as a “warm up” before the season starts or as a complete alternative to live game shooting. These day also make great corperate days and team building events.

Over the past 2 years the market for simulated game shoots has expanded rapidly with organisations across the country offering various different packages.  At Carlton Grange we have found that as with all sporting ventures we offer, attention to detail is paramount. We handpick the Estates and shoots we work with and ensure that our guests enjoy not only the shooting but also that good food and drink is presented within stunning surroundings.  To achieve this we have selected what we have found to be the finest simulated game days from different parts of the country.

East Anglia

Set on a well renowned game shoot the estate offers a superb day which can cater for up to 21 guns. The shoot will be tailored to your every requirement and ability and nothing is left aside.  It is suitable for compelte beginers on a corperate or team building day to the most experinced of shooters. Drives are made up of a combination of driven partridge over high hedges, high pheasant emerging from woods or with guns standing in a deep chalk quarry with birds rushing high over head.

We offer several packages here ranging from half day, full day and evening shoots (evening shoots only availible during select summer periods) all refreshments are inculded thoughout the day and can be catored to your very requiments from bacon rolls in the morning to an excelent steak in the afternoon/evening.

South East

Based in Rural Kent, These Simulated game days are the ideal antidote to the closed season blues and are incredibly good fun. The estate is able to simulate up to a 1000 bird day so hot barrels are guaranteed. You will experience, high pheasant, partridge and grouse drives and you never know a few springing teal may make an appearance. The only difference is that you are shooting clays rather than live game. 4 to 5 drives per day are offered with adequate breaks to take on refreshments and to regale tales of back to back left and rights and taking the highest ‘bird’ of the day.

Simulated days here are suitable for syndicates looking to keep their eye in, corporate entertaining (for which your clients will be very grateful) or just groups of friends looking for something fun to do.

At Carlton Grange we have 4 main packages to cater for all budgets but are able to tailor days to our clients exacting requirements. Refreshments can be as varied as a simple picnic in the field to champagne and canapés through the day with a suckling pig roast served in the glasshouse of a award winning restaurant.

We can offer full tuition and gun hire for those less experienced or for those travelling without guns.

Conveniently situated a few miles from the M20 and the high speed rail link we are only 38 minutes by train from London St Pancras. Collection from the station or from nearby Lydd airport can be arrange.
